EVENT COORDINATOR / COMMUNITY MANAGER

You will spend the majority of your on-site time at our Topanga Canyon space. Some of our events happen off-site around the Los Angeles County area. Reliable transportation is required.


This part-time hybrid role — part remote, part on-site for events — is focused on supporting the creation through execution of our in-house and private events as well as fostering a welcoming, supportive environment for our community of members, practitioners, brand partners and guests. You will be overseen by and interface directly with our executive team as well as collaborate regularly with our marketing and retail teams and engage deeply with our community participants both online and in-person.

Your main responsibilities will include:


Event Coordination

  • Overseeing the logistics of all in-house and private events
  • Serving as the event day concierge for WLW-branded and private events. (oversight and management of the space, guests, practitioner needs, etc
  • Tracking workshop sales and interfacing with marketing team about social media posting schedules
  • Coordinating practitioner, brand partner and client/renter onboarding (sending proposals, contracts, overseeing payment schedules and billing)


Community Building/Management

  • Managing all community support emails - responding to event inquiries; sending event reminders and feedback requests
  • Genuinely engaging with and building trust and rapport with our community at events
  • Managing Circle membership online forum - engage with community, post challenges, respond to questions, provide encouragement
  • Developing relationships with aligned brands and practitioners for collaboration/sponsorship opportunities

  • Video editing for social media reels; assembling pre-recorded video and audio clips into story-driven content
  • Managing Instagram scheduling, posting, and engagement
  • Copywriting, creation and scheduling of sales email campaigns and e-newsletters (comfortability and experience using Flodesk required)
  • Curating, producing and scheduling blog content
